We were up early for another full on day with a no. of buildings to see and Notre dame on the list. Funny I'd been told by a friend that Notre Dame was not a great thing to see, but I beg to differ. We all loved it and while I'm not really a religious person - I got quite emotional inside and we lit candles for our loved ones. It had a lovely feel and the architecture was divine!!!
After all that emotion we needed cake and the others coffee, so we ventured over the Seine for yummy pastries and coffee
It was then back to the apartment for a rest as it was a very hot day and then around 4 we ventured by foot to the Musee D'Orsay and I gave up and we hailed a bike cab and he cycled us to the eiffel tower. We lined up and after a time we headed to the top of the tower, for a lovely sunset view. Then after looking at both viewing decks we headed down. We rested in the grounds as the lights came on at dusk, and it was beautiful. As we headed home along the seine the tower lit up in a sparkling display of flashing lights.
